We use the Salesforce Marketing Cloud

We use the Salesforce Marketing Cloud service to collect and process the following information when you visit our web site: IP address, browser type and version, the requested page address ("Request"), the title of the page , the previously visited page ("Referrer"), time of the page view. This data is used to analyze your visit to our web site. Please note that your data may be transmitted to the USA and other countries outside the European Union for processing. The tool we use also sets a cookie on your device. The cookie remains stored until you manually delete it.

When you have logged into your user account, we will submit your e-mail address to salesforce.com EMEA Limited, Floor 26 Salesforce Tower, 110 Bishopsgate, London, EC2N 4AY, United Kingdom. Salesforce will use this to analyse your user activites on our web site.

We use SurveyMonkey

We conduct user surveys in order to optimise our website offering. We use the survey platform SurveyMonkey for this purpose. The collection and analysis of data is subject to SurveyMonkey's Privacy Policy.

User account / Signing up / Login

When you sign up with us, we will collect and process your user name (you may choose a nick name or pseudonym), your e-mail address, and a password chosen by you, and, optional, your first and last name.

We shall process your user name to save your content collections and recommendations under this name, and to make this content available to other users who have signed up.

We shall save your email adress to let you log in, in combination with you password, to your user account, and to send you a password recovery email in case you forgot your password. Besides this, we will inform you by email when new contents becomes available on our web site.

Before you can log in to your account for the first time, we will send an activation link to your email address. In this way, we check that the email address given actually belongs to the user who entered the data (double opt-in). If the recipient of the e-mail does not follow the activation link within 24 hours, the data collected during registration will be deleted automatically.

We use your first and last name to personally address you on our website, once you have logged in, and to personalize the e-mail address to you.

The data mentioned above remains stored by us until the user account is closed. When you wish to close your account, you may inform us any time without notice period.

Social Media Login

We offer you the possibility to register on our platform with Facebook or Twitter. An additional registration is therefore not necessary. You will be redirected to the Facebook / Twitter page where you can log in with your login credentials. This links your Facebook or Twitter profile to our platform. As a result, Facebook / Twitter automatically transfers the following information to us: Your first and last name, nickname, profile picture and e-mail address.

This information (with the exception of your firts and last name) is mandatory in order to identify you on our platform.
